and it happens that cascara has structural analogies to many of our own substances. Vitamin K and coenzyme Q and progesterone have structural similarities to cascara, and so what it's doing is reinforcing our defense systems, and it's very unusual among drugs because it basically reinforces all of the good processes and doesn't support any of the inflammatory toxic processes.
